I love how simple and delicious this chicken is – full of flavor yet minimal ingredients required. The sweetness of the maple and the spiciness of the sririacha makes a great combo on anything really!
This is great for those busy nights, serve it up with some yummy rice and steamed veggies and you got yourself a wonderful meal. Enjoy!
Maple-Sriracha Glazed Chicken
Here’s what you’ll need:
Chicken legs
1 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp. minced ginger
2-3 tbsp. sriracha sauce
1-2 tbsp cider vinegar
1. Whisk together ginger, sriracha sauce, cider vinegar, and maple syrup. Taste test and adjust ingredients to your preference.
2. Place chicken in a glass baking dish, pour sauce over the chicken and cover with plastic wrap. Put in the fridge to marinate for at least 1 hour, tossing half way through.
3. Bake in 475 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Optional: Remove chicken after it has been baked, pour leftover sauce into a little skillet and bring to a gentle boil. Add a little bit of cornstarch mixed with a little water. Whisk until thickened. Pour sauce over chicken and serve.
